Luc Chounet Cambas
Luc has 20 years of experience across a broad range of humanitarian, development, stabilisation and peacemaking issues. He has increasingly specialised in peace process support and transitional security. In addition, Luc has significant experience in managing complex projects and programmes as well as in the provision of advisory services to state and non-state representatives. Luc recently moved to Bangkok, Thailand. Until a few months ago, he was based in the Middle-East and led on regional business development and performance management for Integrity, a British company providing consultancy services in fragile states. Prior to joining Integrity, Luc worked on peace processes, ceasefires and Disarmament, Demobilisation & Reintegration (DDR) programmes. Building on this expertise, Luc is an advisor to “Promédiation”, a France based network of mediators, and authored publications related to ceasefire negotiation (2011, 2016)
Educated at Sciences-Po Lyon, Sussex University and Sorbonne University in Paris, Luc has lived and worked in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Chad, Eritrea, Indonesia (Jakarta, Aceh), Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mali, Myanmar, the Philippines, Sudan, Syria, Turkey.
